My heart is refusing me.

It's amazing how different a song can sound live. I didn't think much of this song when I saw Loreen perform it. But listening to the studio version makes me think: this is the type of song that deserves major pr.

Her voice is amazing.

Cibo Matto - Sugar Water

"All these lines across my face.."

Has anyone here played a game called Memento Mori: Requiem?
I figured, why not try it out?
It seems to be very violent. Let's hope that's true.

TWANSITION!

-------

Pretty soon a new video will be up on WeReadBooks on youtube, so check that out when the time comes. This will be the first time that someone else uploads a video with me in it, so I'm quite nervous to see how it turns out.

And speaking of youtube;
in a week and a half I'll be able to buy my new camera.
I've waited since before graduation to get it, so trust me when I'll say: it'll make my year.

And speaking of books;
I just started reading Paper Towns.
HAH! Yes. I'm slow.

A random note: How many of you out there sit with your laptops in bed?
How long can one do this without losing what's left of your dignity?
A little bit longer than it takes to lose all feeling in your legs, perhaps?

Yeah.

Before I leave you, I shall give you some good advice.
Listen to Brandi Carlile.
She's the singer of that song: The Story. But she's made tons of other great songs, so check 'em out.

Listen to her sing, then look at her face. It doesn't match, does it?
Makes it all just a little bit more intriguing.

Music war? Shut up.

Now, I can talk for hours about the differences between k-pop and j-pop, and how I feel about the war between the two fandoms....

But instead, I choose to say: Shut your face, I like both.

Today I've had the same three songs on repeat on my Pi-pod.

Clap your hands, Fire
and Follow me. (2NE1 all the way)

I actually do love the tougher k-pop girl groups.

Imagine The Pussycat Dolls actually made good songs.... (it's hard, I know...)
Yeah, that's 2NE1 right there.

FIRE

Nostalgia Music

Hello world.
It's almost time for me to go to bed. But first I thought I'd share some stuff with you.

I'm still wearing my baseball cap, even though I'm not watching baseball, and there's no sun on my face.. I guess I just got used to it. I usually don't like hats.
Especially the ones that itch. (everyone knows what I'm talking about)

Anyway, this evening I felt this amazing urge to listen to old music. (not old like.. music from the 50s, but old like.. music from my childhood) So I went and searched for my top five nostalgia songs.
One of them is a Spice Girls song, yes.

Onitsuka Chihiro - Infection
(Maybe I should mention that this is still my favourite song of all time.)

Spice Girls - Viva Forever

Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal

Five - Inspector Gadget
(What?)

The Beatles - All you need is love

I remember seeing this really fun cartoon music video to All you need is love. I don't remember what that was.. Was it the official music video?
Maybe not.

I mention this many times, but.. My memory has never been great.

Goodnight everyone.
Except for those of you who don't sleep.

A little bit of .... rock? Ugh, labels frustrate me.

I've been listening to Evanescence a lot recently. Remember them?
Yeah. They're the band that exploded into the mainstream world with an AMAZING album in 2003,
then disappeared for three years, released an ok album in 2006,
and then disappeared again.

I looked them up, and it seems like they're going to release a new album this fall.

What is with their release rhythm?
They should get some japanesey in them and release at least three albums per year. *laughs*

But really. In all seriousness, Evanescence is a great band.
I remember forcing my dad to buy "Fallen" for me when it came out.
I was so excited and listened to it non-stop for weeks, months, years!! (on my cd-player (*nostalgia*))

That slow song "Hello" is still one of my favourite songs of all time.
I would sing it in our car when no one else was around, thinking no one could hear my off-key voice. (Later in life I've realised that people CAN hear things through car doors. Damn it)

------------

Amy Lee has always been one purrdy lady.

------------

Tomorrow is the day I go out with my brother and his mysterious friend(s).
That's right. I don't even know how many he invited.
Jesus Christ, what have I gotten myself into?

Dear Maxie,
remember to shower tomorrow. Because you were way too lazy to do it today.

Evanescence - Hello

Love it.

The Video.

Guess I shouldn't comment on a song without posting the music video.

Sing along with me!~
One in a mirriooooon!
